Was happy with my purchase at first. While I was at the welding table all was good.. then had some race car chassis work come in. Under the car welding chromoly tubing joints, I noticed I was laying in a huge puddle of coolant.. the hose at the torch ruptured and it wasted a gallon of coolant. Time was wasted on clean up and switching back to my air cooled torch and hose. Time is money at least in my world..and both were wasted.. not happy and would not recommend this product to any serious welder.

Steven,
Thanks for taking time to write a review. We are sorry to hear the CK Torch sprung a leak. CK water-cooled torches use a "FailSafe" mechanical ferrule and they are great when they work, but like anything they can leak.
We would be happy to replace the torch with a new CK or Weldcraft model. Please contact our Customer Care team for a Simple - No Hassle - replacement.
Good welding!

Good Info! Yes, some TIG torches have restricted water flow on the power cable connection to the torch body, and few torches are flow tested. Low flow rates are caused by using a brass ferrule to crimp the hose. When crimped the ferrule can pinch the rubber tubbing inside the water cooling channel reducing the flow rate.
As you noted the CK230 (the 3 means 300 amp cable) torch has a larger 300 amp cable and it may work, but to be safe Arc-Zone recommends the Miller W-250 - which uses an update fitting design with a stainless steel wire tie to secure the hose and does not limit the flow rate.
Contact our Customer Care team to return your torch and get dialed in with a new one that will do the job.
