Large Gas Lens Super Cups reduce thermal conductivity (heat transfer) by nearly 40%, when compared to standard Pink Alumina nozzles. Made from modern advanced materials, these Silica-Nitride cups are oven cured in pure nitrogen to promote a denser grain structure. Super Cups eliminate the potential for thermal shock which results in standard cups cracking, splitting and melting when exposed to high AC amperage TIG welding jobs.
Now you can run your balled up tungsten flush with the cup orifice and keep the cup size tight for maximum cleaning and gas ionization which is key to quality Aluminum TIG welding jobs.
