Approximate number of rods per 1 lb. pack for each diameter:

  • .035" (0.89mm): 50 - 54
  • .045" (1.14mm): 36 - 40
  • 1/16" (1.6mm): 26 - 30
  • 3/32" (2.4mm): 12 - 16
  • 5/32" (4.0mm): 6 - 8

ER347 AWS A5.9 CLASS ER347

ER347 is used for welding AISI types 304, 304L, 321 and 347 where maximum corrosion resistance is required.

347 contains columbium, which acts as a stabilizer against carbide precipitation thereby eliminating intergranular corrosion.
