Im sorry but i can't say anything good about this flow checker. I have tested 3 different flowmeters, two off brand ones that i got from Everlast and one high dollar one from smith/miller and not one of them showed the correct number. The two Everlast meters were around 15-18 cfh off, and the smith meter was around 10 cfh off. I even took the welder out of the equation but putting the tester at the end of the argon hose and that made no difference at all. Ive tried all kinds of different methods to get a good seal at the end to make sure there were no leaks and still...nothing. Ive leak tested my entire setup with soapy water so i know there are no leaks at all. It comes down to either i have a bad tester or this thing just doesn't work lol. Pretty simple.....

Even though im disappointed in this product ive purchased many things from arc zone and will continue to buy from them. It's a great company but this is a no go from me.

This is in regards to an earlier feedback left on 2/20/2015 about a defective Shield Gas Tester I received from Arc-Zone. I am glad to see that Arc-Zone stepped up and sent me another tester with out my having to prove the first tester I received was defective. I've been welding professionally since about 1970, so I know how a Shield Gas Tester has to function. This has renewed my faith in Arc-Zone as a great business to work with. Thank you for your help in this matter. Don

No gas passage through rubber end. Would not work when I received the tester with out reworking the rubber end by punching the right size hole inside the rubber end.
Poor quality control at Arc-Zone.
