Complete purge plug kit includes a full range of nylon purge plugs designed to plug pipe and tube sizes ranging from 1/2" (13mm) - 4" (101.6mm).

Each kit comes with a sturdy, hard plastic case with foam cut-outs for perfect organization, and include:

• 2 Each of the Solid Stem Plugs for 1/2" (13mm), 3/4" (19mm), 1" (25.4mm), 1.25" (31.7mm), & 1.5" (38.1mm)
• 2 Each of the Hollow Stem Plugs for 1/2" (13mm), 3/4" (19mm), 1" (25.4mm), 1.25" (31.7mm), & 1.5" (38.1mm), 2" (50.8mm), 2.5" (63.5mm), 3" (76.2mm), 3.5" (88.9mm), & 4" (101.6mm).

Plus, the hollow stem plugs come with all hardware to be outfitted with solid caps, to create an air-tight seal; or with nipples to receive purge gas hoses.

Manufactured from durable nylon; a high quality engineered polymer capable of resisting rusting, corrosion, chemical damage, and shattering.  These plugs are not high temperature, so they need to be placed a bit farther away from the weld area.  For a higher temp alternative consider the aluminum versions. 

These plugs guarantee high accuracy, compact sealing, and long-life durability.

Nylon plugs are 20% lighter than metal, can be easily cleaned and maintained.

Easy expansion is attained due to its friction-reducing acetyl copolymer thrust washer, which is inserted between the plate and wing nut.

The larger sizes are reinforced in order to provide strength and rigidity during use.

The strong seal can withstand up to 100 psi (pressure per square inch) and up to 100 ft. head of water.

These nylon purging plugs come in two styles, solid and hollow stem pipe. The solid stem pipe purging plug covers a diameter range from 0.5" (13 mm) to 1.5" (38 mm).

The hollow shaft version has a diameter range starting from 0.05" (13 mm) to 6" (150 mm).

These plugs are easy to disassemble for cleaning.
