I am 50 I am a welder. I have seen ever ideration of welpers. I bought these as soon as I found out they existed. They are better than some...most. I would have much rather bought a 40 dollar version that had much better fit and finish. The versatility is unique enough to warrant purchase. handle opens just barely wide enough to pull off a 6 cup. The files on the outside of the nose jaws score the hell out of the inside of the cup, so far it seems like they clean it out easier over all than the old ones....time will tell. I get much more purchase on the handle when servicing my whip/cleaning, haven't need a separate pliers for that since I got them. My tool box wears the nifty chain as jewelry.

I gave these welpers 4 stars because one reason I bought them was I thought the chain was a great idea. I am a welder, put these in my back pocket hooked the chain on my beltloop walked toward the machine I was going to be working on bumped up against it and the hook snapped off like a potato chip !!! Nice Welpers Shitty chain.
