This "professional grade" machine can be used as a hand-held or can be bench mounted with a simple bench vice mounting bracket included. The Turbo Sharp 10 tungsten grinder is engineered so the head assembly is completely enclosed to minimize exposure to grinding dust, and improve operator safety. For dust-free tungsten grinding the unit comes with an attachment which can be easily connected to a shop style vacuum.
With a robust electric motor, the Turbo-Sharp™ X comes ready to grind tungsten sizes .040" (1.0mm), 1/16" (1.6mm), 3/32" (2.4mm) and 1/8" (3.2mm) -- and you can grind tungsten electrodes as short as 1.5" (38.1mm) long. Optional accessories are readily available for grinding tungsten diameters 5/32" (4.0mm), 3/16" (4.8mm) and 1/4" (6.4mm) and our optional "Short Grinding Wand" enables grinding electrodes as short as 3/4" (19mm) long!
