Given the continued projected shortage of skilled welders, one can only expect the number of women in the welding industry to grow…  and with that growth, a demand for welding apparel that fits well.

We all know that women are shaped differently than men.  But did you know that AngelFire is not the only welding apparel for women?

Miller is introducing a new women’s line of their Arc Armor® apparel.

We are excited to see more options for women who weld in terms of apparel.

The Arc Armor®  welding apparel includes the INDURA® cloth jacket and MIG and TIG gloves. Specifically engineered with feedback from women welders, the new apparel provides superior fit and comfort for elevated performance.

Made from INDURA flame-resistant cotton, the women’s jacket provides less restriction for better movement and increases safety with a tailored fit.

“As more female welders enter the industry, it’s important that they have access to high-quality welding protection,” said Bill Gardner, welding safety manager for Miller Electric Mfg. Co. “Welding protection that fits properly will increase safety, performance and productivity.”

We are excited to see so many companies addressing the needs of women welders.  If you’re interested in any of these products, check out Arc-Zone.com. AND if you’re interested in getting to know some of the amazing women who weld, check out our New Rosies column, featuring women welders....
