For a professional level helmet, this one is hard to beat. Between the clarity of the screen, the ease of use and multiple viewing modes, this helmet is solid. I've even dropped it several times, and smooshed the shell, and it still works perfectly. I keep mine on weld mode most of the time, but whenever I need to do cutting or grinding, it is easy to change modes without taking the helmet off. I've found the x-mode to be really useful, especially out in the field, and around bright lights. If you're working in close quarters around other TIG welders the HF start of other machines will trigger the X-mode, so not the best option if you're in a production shop in close proximity to other weldors. 4 sensors is also an added bonus. Say goodbye to getting flashed out of position, and my eyes thank me every day for it. I've wrapped my head around pipes and tubing junctions, and have never gotten the slightest hesitation from the auto darkening sensors. The head gear is definitely another valuable asset to this hood, it's extremely comfortable and will fit all different size melons. I would definitely recommend this helmet to anyone who is looking for a helmet that can handle a variety welding applications. In the shop, at home, in the field, this helmet has got you covered. Plus, that flame skull tho! My only criticism is the weight, it's not the lightest, but it's also not the heaviest hood out there, still after a 12 hour day my neck is not wrecked. Oh and its a Miller, which means you have great product support on top of a great product to begin with. Buy blue!
