The WP-280 defines a new standard in amperage output, not torch size for increased reliability. Ideal for light-duty jobs, and is powerful enough to handle high amp TIG welding applications.
The WP-280's innovative small diameter handle design allows the operator to orient the torch by feel, improving overall torch control -- which is critical to high-quality TIG welding. The new ColorSmart™ hoses let you quickly identify water input (blue hose), water/power return (red hose) and gas (black hose) with the ColorSmart™ color-coded hoses for more efficient torch package installation. The durable, flexible reinforced rubber cable and hose assembly comes complete with integral cable cover that has been completely redesigned to eliminate cable cover slipping & binding at the torch, and offers greater flexibility, especially in cold weather.
The New WP-280 TIG torch package comes complete with high-performance TIG torch, flexible rubber power cable, water and gas hoses, premium cable cover and 3/32" (2.4mm) front end parts installed. You can also choose from models complete with Dinse connectors ready to plug into your new Miller TIG machine, or comparable models.
