Best compromise for those who do not like the heavy leather type hose/cable protectors for the #20 water cooled torch. I did NOT like the leather. This nylon does not drag anywhere near as much as the leather does on the sides of the weld table which can restrict your torch movement. Of course no protector of any kind is best for free torch movement but this protector comes as close to that as possible.
