2% Thoriated Tungsten Electrodes, Color Code Red

These electrodes have easier arc starting, better arc stability, higher current capacity, longer life, and increased resistance to weld pool contamination when compared with 1% thoriated.

2% Thoriated Electrodes are thorium dioxide doped tungsten electrodes containing 1.8% to 2.2% ThO2. Color code: Red.
