Optimize Your Pipe Welding Applications With The Versatility & Efficiency of Modular Purge Baffles.

The Modular Purging Systems contain interchangeable parts, so every system can be upgraded to fit additional pipe sizes.  The durable and temperature resistant silicone rubber baffles create an air tight seal on each end of the weld area with a stainless steel gas difuser between them that fills inside of the pipe with the shield gas (Argon).  As the shield gas fills the weld area, the oxygen is purged from the weld area through a sintered pressure vent, allowing for the pipe section to be completely purged of atmosphere in a little as 30 seconds to 3 Minutes.  For applications requiring strict purging standards, we suggest using an oxygen sensor to monitor the oxygen content of the interior of the pipe.
